Cow_Love

Our Cow series showcases cows with character – expressive, independent, and full of charm. The photographs were taken in a pasture in the mountains around Bregenz, Austria. We've given the cows names: Romeo, Julia, and Hannibal. Their facial expressions are as individual as their names: sometimes they appear agitated or stressed, sometimes simply bored. Their gazes tell little stories and invite closer inspection. Luminous yellow and gold tones meet blue and turquoise, lending the portraits a vibrant radiance.

The A3-format images achieve a unique spatial effect through their 3D construction. Multiple layers of aluminum composite panel (Dibond), some complemented by brushed aluminum, give the motifs depth and allow individual elements to stand out in three dimensions. The standard frame is made of spruce wood from the Austrian mountains. Alternatively, it can be customized using Blackboard Magic. In this way, Romeo, Juliet, and Hannibal bring personality, color, and a touch of whimsy to any room.
